Join us for this taster course in Botanical/Eco-printing. Learning about the leaves, flowers, layout and design.
Experience printing on a textiles.
There are 2 options either - 1 large piece (Wrap size)  65cm -70cm wide by 2m long 
OR     2 smaller pieces ( scarf size) 35cm x 1.8m long.
The options of Zero-waste Textiles are : Silk, Wool Muslin, Linen/Silk, Organic Cotton Scarf (finished), Cotton or what is available during the season.
We will contact you prior to the workshop re the options of textiles as well as the options of the Natural dye colours. The Dye colour options range from Blue, Mauve, Pinks, Peach and tannin colours.
Group sizes are usually a maximum of 4 people.
Workshop runs from 9.30am -  4pm.
Full notes are given out on the process, leaves and flowers that print, design, textiles and how to care for them. This does not include the Mordant process, the how to prepare the textiles and the making up of the Natural dyes. This is an Introduction into the world of Botanical Printing
